THIS IS NOT AN OPEN ENTRY EVENT! You must first qualify at one of eight Northeast Area Qualifiers and pay for your MX Sports entry form(s) in order to enter Friday practice or weekend racing at this event. Register with MX Sports here.

One MX Sports Form = One Class

There will be qualifiers in many classes at the Regional. We’ll run two qualifiers and one LCQ for these classes, and the qualifiers count as your first moto finish. (See Loretta’s Supplemental Rules for more info.) There are eight Area Qualifiers, and the top nine from each are eligible to enter the Regional Championship from each. That’s 72 possible entries per class.

There could be a rare exception, but generally we won’t take an alternate if it would create qualifiers in a class. If the guaranteed entries are already more than a full gate, we’ll accept up to 72 entries per class.

Gate Information

Front gate will close each evening at 10 PM. No charge for Non-Racers under the age of 6.

There is no camping charge.

We do not have reserved hookups. However there are many water faucets to be shared throughout the Pro Pit area.

7:00 AM - Open Practice (Optional) Signup - $50/class
9:00 AM - Open Practice begins - 2 rotations for each class
10:00-6:00 PM Race Registration - $80 (Plus MX Sports $80 if not Pre-registered)

Saturday

7:00-8:00 AM - Race Registration
8:00 - Sight Laps by class
Racing to follow sight laps - 2 motos/class

Sunday

8:00 AM - Sight Laps by class
Racing to follow sight laps - 1 moto/class

SIGN-Up Information

Friday Practice (Optional)

To sign up for practice, you must be racing Saturday and Sunday, and have already paid for your MX Sports forms. Practice is $50/class.

NOTE NEW AMA RULES: Every rider must have a chest and back protection to race! (From Motocross rules 1.2 (Section F #4)

SATURDAY & SUNDAY - LORETTA LYNN REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Riders must have qualified in one of the 8 Northeast Area Qualifiers
Riders must have pre-paid for your MX Sports form(s) - one form for each class (AT THIS LINK)

Must have a valid AMA Membership (Join here)

TRANSPONDERS REQUIRED BEFORE SIGNUP - A limited number of transponder rentals will be available at the track. But we suggest you reserve one if needed. (link coming soonHERE PLEASE) $30 rental. $10 if you need a holder. Security Deposit requires $300 cash deposit, or hold a credit card - plus valid ID.

MINOR WAIVERS - If not already on file with AMA, both parents must be present to sign, or parent not attending must have the waiver notarized.

FRAME NUMBERS MUST BE BROUGHT TO SIGN-UP FOR EACH CLASS ENTERED!

important notice for all parents of minors

READ CAREFULLY – THERE IS A NEW MINOR RELEASE FOR AMA EVENTS AT THE WICK 338.

If both parents are present at the track they may sign the form in the presence of a track official who will have to check IDs.

If one parent will not be able to make it to the track they must sign and have the form notarized and then the other parent can bring it with them to the track where they can sign it in front of a track official who will have to check an ID.

SOLE GUARDIANS – Print “SOLE GUARDIAN” on the lower Signature line.

This DOES NOT eliminate the need for at least one of the parents or guardians to be present at sign up for the minor and remain at the track throughout the event.

If your child will be participating in any event at The Wick 338 with another adult both parents must sign and have notarized the Guardian Form appointing a legal (over 18) guardian for the day.

Will you take credit cards at the gate?

Sorry, but no, we will not be taking credit cards at the gate. With so many people in the area all using data it's almost impossible to rely on cell phone based terminals.
